JustCV
A recruitment platform designed for both companies and job seekers in the Saudi Arabian market. With the region’s rapid economic growth, the lack of a localized recruitment platform has become a challenge. JustCV aims to bridge this gap by connecting local businesses with qualified job seekers.
01 / Project overview
The challenge
This project was a complete redesign of an existing platform that previously held a 2.9-star rating. Many user reviews mentioned issues such as unexpected charges and a lack of transparency in how resumes were sent to companies. We collected over 400 questionnaires from previous users, which revealed two major problems: a lack of flexibility in the platform and low overall trustworthiness.
My tasks
- Conducted a joint analysis with the product manager to identify key issues in the previous platform.
- Assisted in visual design tasks, including the design system, branding, and marketing materials.
- Designed user flows, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and worked closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.

A clear first experience for companies
For the company side, the priority was to streamline the sign-up journey, ensuring it was user-friendly and professional. This included a seamless account creation process and the ability to easily set recruitment preferences. We wanted companies to experience a polished, easy-to-navigate interface, as this would be their first interaction with the product.
Building trust and giving users more flexibility
For the job seeker side, our goal was to create a reliable platform. According to our research, many users of the original JustCV platform expressed concerns about whether their resumes were actually being sent to companies. Additionally, the recommended companies often didn’t align with their needs, and there was limited flexibility in selecting companies. These pain points were our main focus in the redesign.
