01 / Project overview
The challenge
This was my first B2B project and also my first experience in the fintech domain, an area I was initially unfamiliar with. I joined as a replacement for the previous designer, who was on maternity leave, and was responsible for maintaining the existing design system while continuing to design and deliver new product features.
My tasks
- Conducted benchmarking and user research on fintech products.
- Assisted in visual design tasks, including the design system, branding, and marketing materials.
- Designed user flows, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and worked closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation.

Invoice capture and scanning
Converts paper invoices into digital formats through optical character recognition (OCR).
Statement management
Manage different types of financial statements.
Automated invoice matching
Automatically matches invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and other supporting documents.
Balancing automation and manual adjustments
Records are grouped into different categories based on parameters such as vendor, accounts payable, date, and balance. Manual adjustments are still necessary, so this approach combines automation with manual changes.
